A New Server: We noticed the site moving slow too, so we've now moved to a new hosting provider!
WordPress 3.0: We upgraded the site to the latest copy of WordPress too, and did some cleanup to speed the site up even more.
Comments, Continued: It looks as if the comment spam filter has finished learning; very few comments are getting held now!

The show of support has been overwhelming, we would like to stress that Karen's immune system is not up to par right now.
The doctors have requested that anyone who may be feeling under the weather (even just a cold!) not make the trip to visit her yet.
